BARKER, N.Y. — It was a long trip for the Clymer/Sherman girls softball team, but every mile was worth it as the Lady Wolves were 19-6 winners over Barker in Wednesday's Section VI Class D semifinals.
ERIE — Playing the top seed in the District 10 Class 4A baseball bracket, Corry knew it had its work cut out for it facing Cathedral Prep in Tuesday's first round of the playoffs.

ELLERY, N.Y. — The Clymer/Sherman/Panama girls track team defeated Maple Grove Tuesday with a score of 75-66. Tess Flikkema was a double winner for CSP in the win, taking the 100 and 400 meters.Â
With the offense a bit sluggish for five innings, the Clymer/Sherman/Panama pitching staff came through in Tuesday's home Class C playoff game.
Corry entered the PIAA D-10 tournament on Tuesday as the no. 5 seed. The reigning AAA champs of District 10 began defending their crown at Penn State Behrend University against the Lady Tigers of Fairview. Payton McCray and company lifted the Beavers past Fairview as Corry pulled off the win 6-3.
WEST VALLEY — Playing at West Valley, the Clymer/Sherman girls softball team took awhile to get going in the Class D playoffs but they wound up rolling to a 16-2 victory on Monday night.

SLIPPERY ROCK – All the hard work has paid off for Corry senior John Styborski.
It came down to the last play but Clymer/Sherman/Panama's baseball team was on the wrong end of a 4-3 defeat to Salamanca. The game was tied at three when Zaron Tucker singled, scoring the winning run.
The Corry junior varsity baseball team played against the Harbor Creek Huskies on Thursday and came away with the win in a tight, entertaining game, 10-9.Â
Union City started fast and defeated Dynasty Construction 11-4 in junior girls softball play.
The Corry travel volleyball (EPIC) wrapped up another successful season with 38 players participating from ages 12 through 16. An additional eight Corry players participated at other clubs. The three primary goals of the EPIC-Corry Volleyball program is to get better, learn and have fun.
Corry's regular-season came to a close Thursday against a long-time rival when Harbor Creek spoiled the baseball finale, winning the non-regional game 15-4 at The Ballpark At Columbus.
