Corry softball had a huge task on Thursday afternoon at Penn State Behrend. The Beavers took on the undefeated Bison of Fort LeBoeuf in the PIAA District 10 semifinals. The winner would play for the AAA Championship and also win a bid into the state playoffs.

Corry entered the PIAA D-10 tournament on Tuesday as the no. 5 seed. The reigning AAA champs of District 10 began defending their crown at Penn State Behrend University against the Lady Tigers of Fairview. Payton McCray and company lifted the Beavers past Fairview as Corry pulled off the win 6-3.

The Corry travel volleyball (EPIC) wrapped up another successful season with 38 players participating from ages 12 through 16. An additional eight Corry players participated at other clubs. The three primary goals of the EPIC-Corry Volleyball program is to get better, learn and have fun.
