Free car wash: 9 a.m. - noon at First Baptist Church, S. Lake St. in North East. No donations will be accepted - it is totally free!

Monday, July 5

North East Farmers Market: 11 a.m. - 7 p.m. in Gibson Park. Shop for local produce from local growers!

Picnic in the Park: 11:30-1 in Gibson Park. This week’s entertainment provided by Marty Loomis, better known around Erie as Marty’s Bubble Gum Machine. Food available for purchase by Three Sails Café. Craft for the kids, sponsored by NE Arts Council. The picnic moves across the street to Common Ground when the weather doesn’t cooperate. Bingo: Noon at North East Senior Center, 50 E. Main St.

Food Addicts in Recovery Anonymous Meeting: 6:30-8 p.m. at Park United Methodist Church, 30 N. Lake St. If you have trouble controlling the way you eat, are underweight or overweight, or are obsessed with weight or dieting, you are welcome to attend. No weigh-ins.
