Journal photos by Erin Passinger Corry resident Julian McMillan, 2, and his mother, Tracy Long, sit with Santa and Mrs. Claus Thursday at Sander’s Markets, 826 N. Center St. The jolly old couple will be back at the store today from 3 to 7 p.m. The event will partially coincide with the Corry Area Chamber of Commerce’s A Very Merry Corry Christmas, which will be held today from 5 to 11 p.m.

Christmas is still three weeks away but Corry residents will have lots to celebrate this weekend during several local holiday events.

The city’s downtown streets will be filled tonight when the Corry Area Chamber of Commerce kicks off its annual Very Merry Corry Christmas event.
