Corry Alliance Child Care is back in the hunt in the French Creek Valley Women’s Softball League.

CACC topped Hilltop Hatcheries 124-4, avenging an early loss to the fish ladies.

Hilltop’s defense struggled during the late going as it fell to 10-3 this season, Corry Alliance now 8-4.

Anita Hasbrouck had a single, double and triple for the winners. Jess Garland also had three hits.

In with two for CACC were Kayla, Aundra, Rachel and Alishe. No last names were reported.

For Hilltop, Mindi Goodwill had two hits. Jessica Higley and Erika Mack had the only other hits off Jen Hasbrouck, who struck out three and walked three.

Stacie Chamberlin returned to the pitcher’s circle, allowing 16 hits and five walks, striking out four.

On Monday night, Kim’s Townhouse is at Corry Alliance CC while Hilltop draws a bye.
