BROCTON, N.Y. — Clymer’s softball team won its third straight game Tuesday edging Brocton, 7-6. Tate Mielewski was the winning pitcher allowing 10 hits with five walks and two strikeouts allowing 10 hits. 

Brocton was down 7-3 going into the bottom of the seventh. Andrea Fredenburg was 3 for 3, Nashia Duryee 3 for 4 with a double. Sydney Beal, Kate Honey and Libby Heil each drove in one run. 

• In baseball, Clymer was held to one hit in losing 10-0 to Brocton. Josh Summers’ double broke up the no-hitter.

Brocton broke open a 2-0 game scoring six times in the fourth off loser Robert Overton. Jordan Wade and Gerrit Hinsdale pitched in relief. Clymer falls to 2-4 in the league and 4-5 overall.
