SINCLAIRVILLE — Cassadaga Valley scored in the bottom of the seventh to slide by Clymer 3-2 in Wednesday’s Division 2 West baseball game.

“Josh Summers pitched great but we just couldn’t pick up the big hits,” said coach Dan White.

Summers had Clymer’s only hit, a first-inning single, as CV (4-5) recorded nine strikeouts by Connor Crabtree.

Summers allowed four hits, two earned runs and five walks while fanning eight for the Pirates (4-6, 2-5 in league).
