Corry’s middle school football lost Thursday at Harbor Creek, 30-6.
“Offensively we ran the ball pretty decent,” said coach Craig Jaquith. “Mason Savitz had the majority of the carries.”
Savitz threw the ball to Nick Lesher on a halfback option for a 25-yard competition to start the charge of Corry’s scoring drive. On the following play, Nolan Carey hit Lesher on a 32-yard completion for the touchdown. Carey hit Lesher again for the 2-point conversion.
“We need to play four quarters of sound football and we will be fine,” said Jaquith. “We have three games left and would like to end the season at 4-4-1. We currently are 1-4-1.”
Corry plays at home against Iroquois on Wednesday at 4:30 p.m.
