WILLIAMSPORT — While the Little League World Series was taking place a few miles away, Jamestown’s Josh Hodges hurled a masterpiece over eight innings and Alfredo Buret slammed the door in the ninth as the Jammers snapped a four-game losing streak winning over Williamsport 5-1 on Sunday.

In a career-best outing, Hodges (7-1) gave up one run, walked one and fanned three to earn his league-leading seventh win. The Jammers are back to a game under .500 at 30-31.
