MILLCREEK — Corry tied Meadville but fell to talented McDowell in non-league golf action on Friday.

McDowell had a 312 total to 347 for Corry and Meadville.

It’s the first time Corry has stayed close to a good team like Meadville on a very demanding track.

Tommy Huff led the Beavers with an 80, Matt Kellogg at 81. Austin Gillihan carded 90, Mitchell Burrows 96.

Kellogg had a double and triple bogey to finish.

Corry has a region mega-match today at the Lake Shore Country Club.
