ERIE — The Erie SeaWolves open a six-game homestand tonight at Jerry Uht Park with the first of three games against New Britain.

Last-place Erie (49-66) has won four in a row, including a three-game sweep of the Reading Phillies. The Wolves have scored 27 runs during the streak.

Today's first pitch is set for 7:05 p.m.

The last time the SeaWolves played New Britain (34-81), Erie lost two of three before winning the last game of the series to kick-start the current win streak. The Rock Cats enter this series after dropping two of three to Akron.

Third baseman Bryan Pounds brings an 11-game hitting streak into the game after homering in the finale against Reading on Sunday.

After the three-game set against the Rock Cats, Erie will host Bowie for three games starting on Friday night.
