Chris Riche has never had a 300 game — though he’s rolled four 299s.

Moose Dunnewold has several perfect games. And now he has one more after Monday’s action in the John Woodard Classic League at Bowl-Aire Lanes.

But this night belonged to Riche. On alleys 15 and 16, he started the evening with 10 straight strikes and had a 288 opening game.

He followed with a 251 and a 241 for a personal best 780 total.

He said his prior high was in the mid 700s.

What was the key to the big night? “Must be because I was wearing my Penn State shirt,” he claimed.

Aaron Cressley had another solid night finishing with a 704 series. Lant Lictus just missed settling for 699.
