Corry’s middle school girls volleyball teams were both victorious in their matches Thursday against Harbor Creek.

The A team won 25-4 and 25-23.

“In the first set our serving overwhelmed Harbor Creek, as we only rotated once,” said coach Pat Goodsel. Shaylyn Lawrence was the first server and she scored 13 service points — many of them aces. After Harbor Creek served, Corry gained the ball back and scored its 14th point. After rotating, Emily Zaczkiewicz served for 10 more points. Several were jump serves, Goodsel noted.
