Corry's shooters were on target in Tuesday's opening round of the Warren County Scholastic Trap League.

With all teams shooting virtually at their home courses, Corry led the way with a 172. Sheffield was second at 150 followed by Tidioute at 148 and Youngsville's 140.

"It was great shooting by all the kids, we had many personal bests," said coach Sherry Anderson.

For the varsity, hitting perfect 25s were Mason Thomas, Nate Sherry, Garrett Mitchell and Chance Chase.

Posting 24s were Joshua Swan, Jaxon Gray and Kaleb Meneely.

Mackenzie Mitchell was the high lady carding a 23.

Corry's junior varsity had a team score of 154.

Rayden Parrett led the locals with a 23. Hitting 22s were Abe Hoffecker, Tate Tasker, Jacob Swartzfager, Blake Mitchell, Tristan Allen and Evan Ladika.

The second match is this Tuesday at the Rod & Gun Club in Columbus.
