WATERFORD — Corry’s minor girls softball team lost a tough 4-0 decision to Northwestern yesterday in a rematch of last year’s finals.

Corry seemed to be off and running in the first inning after Rachel Dingfelder led off with a single followed by Ryann Brundage's single. Northwestern then chose to pitch around Jill Williams and walked her on four pitches. But the threat quickly ended on two strikeouts and a grounder back to the pitcher.
