Corry's eighth-graders lost to Warren-Beaty on Monday, 44-19, to fall to 6-5.

Corry trailed 22-12 at half.

"We played a great first half, unselfish with the ball on offense and played good team defense," said coach Mike Soprano. "But we were outscored 19-4 in the third quarter.

Markus Lambert led with 10 points, Tavon Kornikoski with three.

With two points were Jesse Goldner, Logan Davis and Malachi Sheets. Ted Mickel had one point.
