The Corry YMCA Otters continued to make waves this past Saturday, sweeping the undermanned Franklin Flyers in all age groups. A total of 56 Otters combined for 63 personal records as another team record fell while the Novice boys and girls and the Cadet girls stayed undefeated at 4-0. 

In the Novice 8 and under division, for the girls, Sydney Mineo was first in the 50 freestyle and 25 butterfly. Liz Colwell placed first in the 25 breaststroke and was second in the 50 free. Addison Schwabenbauer took first in the 25 freestyle. Lilly Amy touched first in the 25 backstroke. Mahra Goodwill had second and third swims in the 25 butterfly and 50 free. Haadyn Owen was third in the 25 free. Aubrey Trask took third in the 25 backstroke and Harper Spence was fourth in the 25 free and 25 back. Amy, Colwell, Goodwill and Mineo combined to win the 100 medley relay. The Corry girls continue to be tied with Jamestown atop the league standings. 

On the boys side, Lamech Albers was first in the 50 freestyle and 25 butterfly. Brandon Jackson won the 25 breaststroke and was second in the 50 free. Parker Trask was third in the 50 free and 25 backs. Chris Bemis was second in the 25 free and fourth in the 25 backstroke. Noam Jones had a third in the 25 free. Trask, Jackson, Albers and Bemis teamed up to win the 100 medley relay. The boys remain unbeaten at 4-0 for the season and in first place in the standings. 

In Cadet (9-10) action, 11 girls combined for the win to move to 4-0 and are tied for first place with Bradford in the league. Mackenzie Spence was first in the 200 and 50 freestyles and 50 butterfly. Spence's time of 2:38.02 in the 200 sets a new Otters team record held by teammate Riley Amory. Amory won the 50 backstroke and was second to Spence in the 200 free. Bella Chase touched first in the 50 free. Alli Goodwill was first in the 100 breaststroke. Sara Colwell added a pair of seconds in the 50 back and 50 fly. Avery Sontheimer was second in the 100 free and third in the 50 free. Quinn Zelinski was second in the 100 breast. Rachel Moats was third in the 50 back and 50 fly. Grace Wilson was third in the 100 freestyle, Miranda Johnson in the 100 breaststroke. Maggie Reed rounded out the scoring in fourth in the 100 freestyle and fifth in the 50 free. Amory, Goodwill, Spence and Chase won the 200 medley relay. 

For the boys, Kael Albers was first in the 50 and 100 freestyles. Connor Vanco was first in the 50 back and second in the 100 freestyle. Logan Amy placed first place in the 200 freestyle. Dayne Jantzi was second in the 50 free and third in the 50 back. Nathan Bates was third in the 100 free. Preston Adams was fourth in the 50 backstroke. The boys moved to 3-1 and are in a three-way tie for second place. 

The Prep girls (11-12) are now 1-3. Catrina Miller contributed firsts in the 100 breast and 200 free. Gwen Adams won the 100 free and was second the 50 free. Lily Bates won the 50 free and was runner-up in the 100 breast. Rebekah Finch was second in the 100 free and third in the 50 free. 

For the Prep boys, Aiden Knapp and Jonathan Albers were double winners to help the team move to 2-2. Knapp won the 200 free and the 50 fly. Albers touched first in the 100 free and 50 back. Tanner Pike picked up a win in the 50 free and was second in the 100 free. Derrick Albers added a second in the 200 free and Ryan Himrod was second in the 50 free. 

The Junior girls (13-14) advanced to 3-1 and are in a three-way tie for second place in the league. Lily Bard led the way with wins in the 200 free and 100 breast. Bethany Anderson won the 50 freestyle. Katelyn Anderson won the 100 backstroke. Rachael Hajec was second in the 50 and 200 freestyles and Hannah Reed third in the 50 freestyle. The Andersons, Bard and Reed took first in the 200 medley relay.

Nick Albers was the lone Junior Otter to compete, helping them move to 3-1 which stands alone in third. Albers won the 50 and 200 freestyles. 

The Senior girls (15-18) are 1-2 after a win. Katie Reed won the 50 and 200 freestyles. Older sister, Marilyn Reed, added a first of her own in the 100 backstroke.

The Senior boys are 2-2 in a four-way tie for third place in the league. Jared Labowski was a double winner in the 100 fly and 100 back. Nathan Labowski picked up a win in the 50 free. David Anderson won the 200 breast. Bryce Benedict was first in the 200 free and second in the 50 free. Jacob Durmis was second in the 100 fly and a third in the 200 free. The Labowskis, Anderson and Benedict teamed up to win the 200 medley relay. 

The Otters are home Saturday versus the County YMCA out of Edinboro starting at 11 a.m.
