In Senior Legion baseball action on Monday, three Corry pitchers combined on a no-hitter to shut out Fort LeBoeuf 3-0.
Nate Lesher pitched three innings of hitless ball striking out seven. Lucas Dyne came in to pitch in the fourth inning and finished with 2 2/3 innings pitched, striking out six with no hits allowed.
Zach Martin pitched the remainder of the game and fanned four more LeBoeuf hitters as the three Post 365 hurlers combined to strike out 17 on the night with no hits.
On offense, Logan Joncas led the four-hit attack with three singles. Corry jumped out to a 1-0 lead in the second inning when Lucas Dyne reached on a throwing error by the shortstop and scored on a sacrifice fly by Rylan Smith.
Maxx Rimdzius collected the other single for Corry and scored on a wild pitch in the third inning to extend the lead to 2-0. Jon Albers reached base on a walk in the fifth inning and scored on a ground out by Rimdzius.
Corry Post 365 will be playing 16 regular season games and finishing the season with a league tournament beginning on July 8. The league is made up of teams from Corry, Fort LeBoeuf, West County, Wesleyville, Millcreek and Edinboro.
