SHERMAN, N.Y. — When Clymer and Sherman meet in boys basketball, it figures to be a barnburner.

The two rivals met on Wednesday before a capacity crowd and, as expected, the game went down to the wire.

Both teams had long runs in the second half but Sherman emerged victorious, 50-47.

The result leaves Clymer, Sherman and Panama in a virtual three-way tie for first place Division 4 standings.
