When you score 20 runs in an American Legion baseball game, you’d think there wasn’t much defense.

Yesterday in the first game of the best-of-3 Warren County League championship, Northwest Savings Bank doubled up Blair Corporation 20-10 at The Ballpark At Columbus.

But the defense provided the spark. NSB led 8-3 in the fourth inning when Blair loaded the bases against Justin Oesch. The dangerous Jeff Eaton came to the plate and something big was brewing.
