PANAMA, N.Y. — Clymer’s baseball team was aggressive in rocking Panama 11-1 in Wednesday’s Division 2 West contest.

“We took extra bases and attacked the ball at the plate,” said coach Dan White, the Pirates now 3-6 in the league and 5-7 overall.

Clymer scored twice in the first, second and third, then plated four runs in the fourth.

Adam Honey pitched six innings allowing six hits and two walks while fanning eight. Sam Wiggers pitched a scoreless seventh.

Wiggers had a two-run double and finished with four RBI. Dylan Neckers had four hits, including a double. Spencer TeWinkle and Honey each had two hits with a double while Jordan Wade had two singles.

Nolan Eggleston had two doubles for Panama, now 1-9.

• In softball action, Panama clipped Clymer, 10-4.

Nashia Duryee had a single and double for the losing Lady Pirates. Erica Gustafson took the loss, striking out two.

Haley King had four hits and Francine Torres struck out nine for Panama (7-6).
