It was more like a football score than baseball final as the Corry Junior all-stars won for the second time in the District 3 playoffs with a 14-0 win over Wattsburg in Thursday’s game at The Ballpark At Columbus.

Corry scored in all five innings in coasting to victory.

Kameron Beeman pitched the team’s second straight one-hitter as he struck out 11 and walked none in the shutout effort.

On offense, in a 22-hit attack, was Tyler Burlew with two singles and a pair of doubles.

Alex Shopene and Bryton Lyon both had three singles.

Banging two hits were Zack Lesher, Nate Labowski, Joey Perry and Nate Gentilman.

Corry plays again today at 6 p.m. at LeBoeuf — at Fort LeBoeuf High School.
