ERIE — In front of 3,871 at Jerry Uht Park, the Erie SeaWolves lost 7-4 Monday afternoon to the Reading Phillies.

The Phillies (26-23) used a five-run first inning against Luke Putkonen to salvage a split of the four-game weekend series. Stephen Susdorf's RBI single and Paco Figueroa's run-scoring double highlighted the decisive outburst from the Eastern League's highest-scoring offense.
