Cathedral Prep was too much for Corry in tennis action yesterday, the Ramblers rolling to a 5-0 win.

Marcus Mosher lost 6-1, 6-1, Tabitha Jaggi fell 6-0, 6-0 and Jared Mosher bowed 6-2, 6-1 in singles.

In doubles, Beavers Dillon Roth and Matt Kellogg lost 6-1, 6-2. Finally, Ruthie Gernovich and Thea Weibel were blanked 6-0, 6-0.

“You have to give Prep credit, they are a solid team whose skill level is top shelf,” claimed CAHS coach Al Gernovich. “We didn't give up and our players conducted themselves with poise despite the scoring disparity.”

Corry travels to Fairview today.
