LAWRENCE PARK — Corry’s boys soccer team played hard against the Iroquois Braves on Tuesday but came up short falling 2-1 in a Region 4 match.

The Beavers led after the first half with an unassisted goal by Max Monn.

“Unfortunately we were unable to hold off the Braves who had two second-half goals,” reported assistant coach Matt Winans. “It was a hard fought battle to the end.”

Brine and Kightliner scored for Iroquois, now 5-3 in the region and 7-6 overall.

Corry falls to 2-5 and 2-9-1.
