COCHRANTON — Union City’s only pass of the night was intercepted but the Bears evened their record with a 24-6 win at Cochranton Friday in Region 2 football action.

Quarterback Ryan Myers ran for two touchdowns, a 2-pointer and threw for a conversion.

UC led 2-0 after one quarter and 10-6 at the half.

Myers, who ran cross country last year, had 95 yards rushing, wrestling standout Jared Burger bullying his way for 88 more.

Union City finally comes home this Friday hosting Cambridge Springs (1-1).
