CLYMER, N.Y. — Visiting Ripley swept Clymer 25-17, 25-23 and, 25-8 last night in Division 3 girls volleyball play.

Emily Trisket had seven service points, Hannah Neckers six and Kate Wiggers five in the loss.

Samantha Rhebergen and Neckers had 17 sets each.

Wiggers made 12 hits and had four kills, Trisket with six hits and one kill.

Andrea Lictus contributed two kills and five hits.

Kailyn Bentley had 13 sets, eight assists and four kills for Ripley (6-6).

Clymer won the junior varsity match 25-14, 25-12, 20-25.

The Pirates travel to Sherman on Monday.

UNION CITY — Cambridge Springs needed five games to get past Union City in volleyball play Thursday 25-18, 25-23, 22-25, 23-25, 15-13.

Megan Kimmy posted 20 kills and 13 digs, Amber bacon with six kills and five blocks.

Mackenzie Gilson contributed 13 points and 24 digs. Rashel Gilson had nine kills while Shelby Glenn netted 23 assists.

Union City won the JV match 25-17, 25-15.
