EVANSVILLE, Ind. — Indiana (Pa.) overcame a 10-point deficit with a 19-2 run and put the game away at the foul line to defeat Tarleton State 72-68 Thursday to reach the Division II men's basketball championship game.

IUP, the PSAC runner-up and Atlantic Regional champion, made 28 of 34 at the foul line to reach the title game for the second straight time. The Crimson Hawks lost to Cal Poly Pomona in the 2009-10 championship game.

Graduate student guard Shawn Dyer had 20 points and Daddy Ugbede 16 for the Crimson Hawks (31-6).

IUP, which went 3-5 versus Gannon, Mercyhurst and Edinboro, will face No. 1 Florida Southern on Saturday at 3 p.m. on CBS TV.
