READING — The Erie SeaWolves dropped their third straight game, falling to the Reading Fightin Phils, 7-4, on Thursday afternoon at First Energy Stadium.

Reading jumped ahead on Erie starter Josh Turley (0-2) who allowed four runs on eight hits with a walk and three strikeouts in six innings.

Austin Green had three hits in the loss. Tyler Bortnick with two.

The SeaWolves (18-28) return home tonight as they host the Richmond Flying Squirrels (San Francisco Giants) at 6:35 p.m. 

The first 1,000 fans will receive a reversible SeaWolves bucket cap. Saturday’s game also starts at 6:35 p.m.
