LAWRENCE PARK — Tuning up for tonight’s big match at General McLane, Corry’s girls volleyball team improved to 12-3 on Monday disposing of Iroquois (6-9) in three games 25-23, 25-12, 25-20.

“We took care of business setting up a battle for second place with McLane in Edinboro,” said coach Kelly Goodsel.

A victory tonight and a loss by McLane in their final match against Fort LeBoeuf on Thursday would create a tie for second in the league.

“That would almost guarantee us a position in the District 10 playoffs next week,” said Goodsel.
