Corry grads Carrie Hall and Caitie Weber had major contributions in Edinboro University’s softball sweep over Slippery Rock 6-2, 8-2.

The Lady Scots have now won 12 of 15 games and stand 17-12 overall, 7-5 in the PSAC.

In game one, left fielder Weber was 0 for 1 with a stolen base and run scored. Right fielder Hall was 1 for 4 with a double and two runs.

In game two, Hall was 1 for 2 with two runs and a steal, while Weber stole two bases, scored twice and was 1 for 3.

Edinboro hosts Clarion today and Gannon Friday in 2:30 p.m. doubleheaders.

• Gannon is now 15-18 after besting Clarion (3-26) twice, 10-0 in five innings and 9-6. CAHS grad Tiffani Danks was 0 for 1 but scored two runs in the opener.

Gannon next has a doubleheader today at home versus Slippery Rock.
