CLYMER, N.Y. — Maple Grove defeated Clymer in girls volleyball on Thursday 15-25, 25-17, 25-14 and 25-23.

The Lady Pirates fell to 2-4, the Grove now 6-1 overall.

Samantha Rhebergen had 38 sets and Hannah Neckers 29.

Rhebergen led the scoring with 13 service points, Emily Trisket getting 11 and Neckers 10.

Trisket collected nine spikes and two blocks, Wiggers with a dozen spikes plus five kills. Andrea Lictus contributed five blocks, three kills and eight spikes.

For MG, Julia Marsh had 19 points including nine aces, Marsh and Madeline Apperson combined for 20 kills.

Clymer next plays at Brocton on Tuesday.
