WATERFORD — The Union City girls golf team finished fifth out of five schools that fielded a team in a Region 2 Mega-Match hosted by Fort LeBoeuf on Monday, Sept. 21, at Fox Run Golf Course.
UNION CITY — The Union City Bears never played a scrimmage this year, and coach Randy Gunther thinks that may have hindered the Bears performance when they lost against a tough Eisenhower team a week ago in the season football opener.

The Corry junior varsity football team opened its season Monday night hosting the Harbor Creek Huskies at Sheen Field. The Huskies downed the Beavers 22-6, in a game that was much closer than the score indicates.

VENANGO — The Union City boys golf team has a five-point lead over second-place Saegertown in Region 3 play after winning a region mega-match on Monday at Venango Valley Inn and Golf Course.

Corry's elementary league football team fell to Fort LeBoeuf 34-8 Wednesday night at Sheen Field. The lone touchdown came in the fourth quarter on a 22-yard quarterback bootleg by Jackson Lathrop.
