Samuel I. Fralick, 71, of Old Pine Road, Columbus, Pa., died Monday, Sept. 14, 2020, at his home.
He was born Sept. 24, 1948, in Corry, Pa., a son of the late Ily and Aleene Upperman Fralick.
Sam was raised and educated in Corry, graduating from Corry Area High School in 1966, where he was a standout wrestler. He served with the U.S. Army and was stationed in Germany during the Vietnam War. Following his honorable discharge, Sam returned to Corry and worked for the U.S. Postal Service in Corry for over 25 years, retiring in 2010.
He belonged to many clubs in the Corry area and enjoyed golfing, playing pool and throwing darts. Sam was an avid NASCAR fan and enjoyed coaching youth wrestling.
In addition to his parents, Sam was preceded in death by a sister, Barb Martin; and three brothers, Rodney, Dean and Gary Fralick.
Sam is survived by a brother, Dale Fralick and his wife Sharon of Spartansburg, Pa.; and several nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are invited to attend the graveside service on Friday at 11 a.m. at West Lawn Cemetery, Columbus, Pa. Pastor Les Utegg will officiate. Due to CDC regulations, masks and social distancing is required.
Funeral arrangements are under the care of Bracken Funeral Home Inc., 315 N. Center St., Corry, Pa.
