John J. Trojak, 87, of Old Lincolnville Road, Union City died Sunday, Aug. 2, 2009.
He was born Feb. 28, 1922, in Lynch, Ky., a son of the late George and Katy (Dursak) Trojak.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Julia Nelson; and two brothers, Richard and Joseph Trojak.
He is survived by his wife, Meredyth (Maryott) Trojak of Union City, whom he married July 22, 1950; six daughters; Chris McCray and her husband, Rod, of Union City, Aimee Wright and her husband, Dan, of Union City, Beth Borecky and her husband, Carl, of Fairview, Cindy Kenas and her husband, Paul, of Portage, Wisc.; Brenda Hornsburg and her husband, Bob, of Stockton, N.Y., and Laurie Trojak of Marlin, Texas; three sons, John Trojak and his wife, Marilyn, of Sharon, Steve Trojak and his wife, Barbara, of Union City, and Robin Parker and his wife, Julie, of Union City; two sisters, Mary Manross of Virginia and Della Buczynski and her husband, Leon, of North East; 15 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; several foster children; and many nieces and nephews.
