Bonnie L. McCray, 83, formerly of Vine Street, Corry, Pa., died Tuesday, Dec. 27, 2016, at Corry Manor.
She was born June 7, 1933, in Raymilton, Pa., a daughter of the late Lawrence and Elma Hoover Doutt.
Bonnie was raised and educated in the Knox, Pa., area and moved with her family to the Corry area in the mid 1950s. After her marriage, her main priority was raising and caring for her family. She later worked at Aero Supply, Corry Foam and then Corry Jamestown Corp., retiring from there in the mid 1990s.
Bonnie was a member of the Secret Sisters. She enjoyed knitting and crocheting and also liked to fish and play bingo.
In addition to her parents, Bonnie was preceded in death on Dec. 7, 2009, by her husband, Roland H. McCray, whom she married on Jan. 24, 1957, in Sherman, N.Y.; by four sisters, Daisy Kelly, Caroline Hovis, Rosie Post, Twilla McKinney; and two brothers, Kenneth and Lawrence Doutt.
Bonnie is survived by a daughter, RuthAnn Berarducci and her husband, Frank, of Conway, S.C; two sons, Terry McCray and his wife, Kim, of Sherman, N.Y., and Jeff McCray and his wife, Libby, of Bear Lake, Pa.
She is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Family and friends may call at Bracken Funeral Home Inc., 315 N. Center St., Corry, Pa., on Friday from 1 p.m. until the time of a funeral service there at 3 p.m. Pastor Tim Minge of the First Baptist Church, Sherman, N.Y., will officiate.
Burial will be in McCray Cemetery, Corry, Pa.
