Lawrence Howard Wallace

Lawrence Howard Wallace, 82, of Bear Lake, Pa., and formerly of Garland, Pa., passed away Wednesday, Oct., 9, 2019, at his home.

He was born March 13, 1937, in Kinzua, Pa., a son to the late John and Fanny (Morrison) Wallace. 

Larry was a heavy equipment mechanic in Arizona for many years and while living in Pennsylvania he drove truck. He loved to tinker with stuff in his garage and always made sure his yard was nice and neat. Larry loved to have company and enjoyed telling stories about things that happened when he was growing up in Kinzua.

Larry is survived by his children, Kenneth (Kathy) Wallace of Missouri, Jeffery (Sue) Wallace of Maryland, Denyse (Greg) Mitchell of Starbrick, Karen (Dean) Morton of Bear Lake and Tammy Fiscus and her companion, Mike Fuller, also of Bear Lake; his stepchildren, Sue (Keith) Bennett of Arizona, Sherry (Pat) Catalfu of Corry, Patty (Jeff) Chase of Garland, Bob Capron of Garland, Kenneth (Nikki) Capron of Virginia and Matthew (Patti) Capron of Townville; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great- great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife, Ellen Wallace; an infant son, Timmy Wallace; two stepdaughters, Cathy Ishman and Cindy Biesmyers; and his siblings, Sam, Norm and Elmer Wallace, Ruby Crowl, Beulah Wilson, Mary Baker, Mable Lehman and Thea Wallace.

Family and friends are invited to call on Monday, Oct. 14, 2019, at Nelson Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 314 N. Main St., Youngsville, PA 16371, from 1 to 3 p.m. at which time a funeral service will be held there with the Lay Minister, Jack Sturges, officiating. 

Burial will take place in the Pine Grove Cemetery in Russell, Pa.
