Rose Marie Heeter, 81, formerly of Belle Valley, died Monday morning March 23, 2015, at Corry Manor, following an extended illness.
She was born in Sharpsville, Pa., Mercer County, on April 19, 1933, a daughter of the late Rudolph Brandt and Nellie Mae Bently Brandt. She lived in Erie most of her life.
She was employed as a machine operator at Menals Stove Company for many years before retiring. She enjoyed bowling, bingo, do word search and other types of puzzles.
Survivors include a sister, Helen Hathaway of Niles, Ohio; a sister-in-law, Sheena Niggel and her husband, John, of Corry; a brother-in-law, David Heeter and his wife, Cheryl, of Kissimmee, Fla. and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James A. Heeter, on Feb. 20, 1999, two sisters, Dorothy Paulick and Marjorie Howard; and two brothers, Raymond Bently and John Brandt.
Friends may call Saturday from 10 a.m. until the time of the service at noon at the C.S. Warthman Funeral Home Inc., 69 N. Main Street, Union City. A service will be held there at noon, officiated by the Rev. Rob Willert.
Burial will be private in Evergreen Cemetery.
