Harry Wayne Lamb Jr., 76, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Friday, Jan. 22, 2016.
He was born Feb. 12, 1939.
He married Joyce Kenniston Lamb on April 1, 1958. He was a lifelong member of Church of the Nazarene. He taught Sunday school and boys junior classes, and frequently sang in church. He loved to read his bible, work on classic cars and spend time with family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Harry Lamb Sr., and Nellie (Filliger) Lamb; sisters, Shirley (Lamb) Reynolds, Doris (Devine) Wetmore, JoAnne (Lamb) Pierson; daughter, Lori Ann Lamb; son, Terry Lamb; and two granddaughters, Caitlin (Lamb) Garwood and Emily (Lamb) Garwood.
He is survived by Joyce Kenniston Lamb of Jefferson City, Mo., son, Harry (Bo) Lamb III and his wife, Kathy, of Edinboro, Pennsylvania; daughter, Julie Lamb of Fulton, Mo.; his sister, Audrey (Devine) Cmiel; his grandchildren, Brock and Jaykob Lamb, Shanelle (Lamb) Arlen, Larissa Lamb, Kevin Garwood II, Willow Garwood; two stepgrandchildren, Gregory Baney Jr. and Denys Benedict; and five great-grandchildren, Andrew, Rylee, Taylor, Brantley Arlen and Lucas Lamb.
Viewing will be at Heartland Crematorium, 616 Jackson St., Columbia, Mo., with services officiated by hospice Chaplin, Bart Larson.
A further memorial service will be held at a later date in Corry, Pennsylvania.
