Barbara Pelc, 69, of West Pleasant Street, Corry, Pa,. passed away July 4, 2019, at Saint Vincent Hospital, Erie, from complications related to cancer.
She was born in Corry, the daughter of the late Harry Norton and Mildred (Bromley) Norton.
Besides her parents, Barb was also preceded in death by her older brother, Bill Norton; and two daughters, Amber Norton and Megan Pelc.
She is survived by her husband of 35 years, Robert Pelc Sr.; a stepson, Rob Pelc and his wife, Tina, of Brentwood, Calif.; and grandchildren, Aleks and Audrey; a son, Shawn Pelc of Corry, Pa.; two brothers, John Norton of Albion, Pa., and David Norton and his wife, Jeanne, of Corry, Pa.; two sisters, Pat Malec of Corry, Pa., and Debbie Cradduck and her husband, Jack, of Oklahoma City, Okla.; and a sister-in-law, Mary Norton of Spartansburg, Pa.; along with several nieces and nephews.
Barb graduated from Corry High School in 1967 followed by employment at Erie Plastics until 1987.
She enjoyed playing bingo with her mother, bowling, crocheting, cooking, baking and spending time with family and cuddling with her Shih Tzu “Belle.”
Family and friends may call at Bracken Funeral Home Inc., 315 N. Center St., Corry, Pa., on Tuesday from 5 to 8 p.m. and attend the funeral service there on Wednesday at 11 a.m. Deacon William Saborsky will officiate.
Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Corry, Pa.
