Brienne Foerschner Rohloff, 62, of North East, formerly of The Colony, Texas, passed on Thursday April 8, 2010 at home. She was born on August 27, 1947 in Queens, N.Y. to Marybelle Chapman Foerschner of North East and the late Leonard V. Foerschner.
She was a graduate of North East High School Class of 1965 and Ohio State University earning a Bachelors of Science degree in Elementary Education. Brienne had a love for education and was formerly employed as a elementary teacher in Memphis, Boston, and Texas and has homeschooled her granddaughter, Morgan, for the past 6 years. In addition, Brienne has provided care for her invalid mother for the past 14 years in North East. She attended the First Presbyterian Church in North East.
Besides her mother, Brienne is survived by her husband of 18 years, Bobby Rohloff, whom she married June 12, 1992 in Dallas, Texas; her children, Loren E. Simonsen of North East, John M. Simonsen and wife, Theresa L., of The Colony, Texas, Daniel S. Simonsen and wife, Stacy R., of Springboro, Pa., and Bradlee Ann Foerschner of Salinas, Calif.; a sister, Sandra Kearney, and husband, William, of Novi, Mich.; brothers, Brad Foerschner of North East, and Kurt Foerschner of Erie; and seven grandchildren.
