Donald J. Bucheral, 82

Donald J. Bucheral, age 82, of North East died on Tuesday, Nov. 29, at Ball Pavilion. 

He was born on Sept. 21, 1934, in Cleveland, Ohio, to the late Author and Dorothy Duke Bucheral.

Donald was a machinist and foreman at General Electric and was also employed at Smith Meters until retirement in 1980. He owned and operated a grape farm in North East from 1973 until 2005. Donald was a member of the American Legion Post 105 and Westfield Moose Lodge 118.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, John Bucheral (1993). 

Donald is survived by his wife of 42 years, Janet Baker Roache Bucheral; daughters, Diane Ferrel (Gary) of Corry, Darlene Marsh of North East, Bonnie Bucheral of North East; son, Kenneth Bucheral of North East; stepdaughter, Bernadette Rybacki (Mario) of West Mifflin; grandchildren, Dana Kugal, Misty Horl, Durst John Bucheral (Sara), Alicia Harmer; stepgrandchildren, Malena Rybacki and Gino Rybacki; great-grandchildren, Johnny Bucheral, Vincent Bucheral, Camden, Ervin and Sabatian Coogle; sister, Judith Rafferty (Mike) of Erie; many cousins, nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank all nurses and aids at Ball Pavilion for their great care of Don.

Services were held at the William D. Elkin Funeral Home, 65 S. Lake St., North East and at St. Gregory Church.
