Ronald A. Mong, 68

Ronald A. Mong, age 68, of North East, died on Sunday, Aug. 6, at Manor Care. He was born on March 8, 1949, in Erie, Pa.; the son of the late William L. Mong Sr. and Dorothy Irene (Greenwalt) Mong. 

Ronald graduated Seneca High School and was formerly employed at Keystone Foods. He enjoyed model trains, dirt track racing, Erie Otters and visiting the North East Lake Shore Railway Museum. 

Ronald was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Paul and William Mong; and sisters, Vera Himelein and Margaret Murphy. 

He is survived by his brothers, Donald and Robert Mong; and sister, Mary Ann Chapman, all of North East; and also several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews. 

Services were held at the William D. Elkin Funeral Home, 65 South Lake Street, North East and in Grahamville Cemetery. 

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family, in care of the funeral home.
