Steven Scott Warner, born Aug. 14, 1965, passed away on Saturday, Nov. 19, at the age of 51.

He always said that 1965 was the best year for the Mustang, but we have a feeling he was just tooting his own horn in this case.

He leaves behind one daughter and two sons, Kayann, Lukas and Scott Warner. As his children, they know and love Steve as others cannot possibly know or love him. He passes on hard lessons and a kind of rough-hewn wisdom that will serve them well into their lives.

Steve didn't take the serious things seriously, found humor in the unlikeliest of places, and made others laugh. He liked nature, camping, classic rock and fixing up vehicles, except when the vehicles refused to be fixed, then he didn't like it anymore.

According to his wishes, no services will be held. Frankly, this is because he didn't like any of you. For the few Steve chose to become close with, we encourage you to crack a cold one, put on AC/DC's "Highway to Hell" and remember a laugh you two shared.

Private funeral arrangements are being handled by the William D. Elkin Funeral Home, 65 S. Lake St., North East.
