The North East Council of Churches invites the public to attend a Community Good Friday Service at Park United Methodist Church at noon on Friday, April 22.

The message will be given by Rev. Dave Waldo, pastor at Greenfield Baptist Church.  Other clergy and laity from area churches will participate with liturgies, scripture readings, and special music.

As we worship together on this solemn day of the Christian calendar we are reminded to care for those who are in need.  The offering received on Good Friday has been designated for the Community Christmas Baskets.

Every year there is a growing need and every year expenses increase.  As we reflect upon the last moments in the life of Jesus may we remember his plea to love and to serve.

Join with others in the community to experience the trials of Good Friday in preparation for the joy of Easter morning.
