Ann A. Uhrmacher Heinrich, age 95, formerly of McCarter Avenue, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, September 1, 20ll, at Ball Pavilion at Brevillier Village. Born July 24, 1916, in Erie, she was a daughter of the late August J. and Anna F. Hodafsky Uhrmacher.

She was a member of Holy Rosary Church. Ann enjoyed crocheting and puzzles, but her greatest love was helping to raise her grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Alban B. Heinrich, in 1982; an infant daughter, Margaret Mary Heinrich; a son, Bernard Heinrich in 2005; a sister, Marie Chermack; and three brothers, Alfred, August and Stephen Uhrmacher.

Survivors include five daughters; Ann Marie Hubert, husband, Donald, and Patricia Wieser, husband, Frank, all of Erie, Mary Alice “Lally” Heckart, husband, James, of Canton, Mich., Dolores “Dolly” Mamros, husband, George, of West Leechburg, Pa. and Theresa “Terri” Heinrich of Oakmont, Pa.; a daughter-in-law, Virginia Heinrich of North East, Pa.; 13 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Arrangements were handled by the Brugger Funeral Homes & Crematory LLP, Pine Avenue Branch, 845 East 38th Street. Memorials may be made to Ball Pavilion at Brevillier Village, 5416 E. Lake Rd., Erie, PA 16511.
