Nathan Farnham weds Maria Mendes

Mr. & Mrs. Nathan Farnham

Maria Rose Mendes and Nathan Ross Farnham exchanged wedding vows on June 19, 2010 in Maryville, Tennessee.

Tony Clark of Blount Christian Church, officiated the mid-afternoon ceremony. Mike Bradam was the violinist and James Cable was the soloist.

Maria is the daughter of John and Anne Mendes of Maryville, Tn. She was given away by her father.

The bride wore a strapless gown with a full skirt and chapel length train. She wore a simple, custom-made elbow-length veil and carried a bouquet of light and dark pink rose buds.

Christina Mendes, twin sister of the bride, was the Maid of Honor. She wore a knee-length, sleeveless teal dress accented with a bright pink sash belt. Her bouquet was a miniature version of the bridal bouquet.

Bridesmaids included friends of the bride, Anastasia Crowe from Knoxville, Tn. And Katie Ammons from Maryville, Tn. Their dresses and flowers matched those of the Maid of Honor.

Jazzie Robinson, friend of the bride, was the flower girl.

Nathan is the son of Harry and Debbie Farnham of North East, Pennsylvania. Patrick Farnham, of North East and brother of the groom, was the Best Man. Groomsmen included brother of the groom, Michael Farnham of Orlando, Fla. and brother of the bride Alex Mendes of Maryville, Tn., currently serving in the United States Air Force stationed in South Dakota.

Approximately 150 guests celebrated with the couple at a reception held at the Capitol Theatre.

The new Mr. and Mrs. Farnham enjoyed a weeklong wedding trip to Daytona Beach, Fla. They returned to Maryville, Tn., where they make their home.

Mrs. Farnham is employed at Red Lobster while she pursues a career in Early Childhood Education at Pellissippi State Community College. Mr. Farnham is employed at Akard Commutator of Tennessee.
