The North East Cross Team hosted the 4th annual Miller Mistletoe Mile on Sunday, December 19 with almost 200 runners participating in this year’s race.

This is the best participation yet which made it possible for the cross country team to be able donate $1,200.00 to the North East Autistic Support classroom.

This is an annual event with the proceeds donated to a different group every year. The runners of the North East cross country team and their families donate their time, effort, and cookies for a good cause.

The North East cross country program would like to thank the following people for helping in making this year’s race such a huge success. Matt Skrekla and the North East Fire Department, the North East Police Department, Sam Rizzo from the Brotherhood of St. Joseph, Big Mike Skrekla from the Borough of North East, The Boston Bean Cafe, Jim Lanahan at Mercyhurst North East, and Bill Mackin.
