Anthony Prinicpe, 71, of Salem, SC died suddenly April 9, 2010. He was raised in Brockway, PA and was the son of Anthony Angelo and Edith Earich Prinicpe.

He was a graduate of Gannon University and of SUNY PA at Edinboro for a master’s degree. He was an adjunct humanities instructor at Tri County Technical College, a volunteer teacher with the Clemson University Life Long Learning and sports programs, a member of the Presbyterian Church, the Lions, and sang tenor with the Key Koraliers.

He was a teacher and coach at Fredonia Central Schools where he was inducted into their hall of fame. His first teaching job was at North East’s St. Gregory High School where he also coached their first winning basketball seasons. He was honored then as coach of the Erie County All Stars in 1963-64.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Reed Principe, a daughter, Jacqueline Principe of Milwaukee and a son, Marc Principe of West Seneca as well as four grandchildren. He was predeceased by a son Nicholas.

A memorial fund is with the Collins Home and Family Ministries, 110 Collins Dr., Seneca, SC 29672.
