Today’s program: Appalachian Trail - Barbara Fynan, North East resident and hiker of the Appalachian Trail, recently completed her six-year journey along this trail. She will share some “tales of the 2,180 mile trail,” facts about the trail and what it takes to finish such a hike.

*Lovin’ Downtown: Downtown North East, Inc. hosts its Third Annual Lovin’ Downtown Wine & Food Festival from 7-10 p.m. at St. Gregory School gym. Tickets available at North East Chamber of Commerce, 17 E. Main St. and Bella Salon & Day Spa, 41 W. Main St. $20 per person in advance, $25 at the door if tickets remain.
