The Assembly of God of North East will hold its inaugural Fun Fest Charity Cycling Tour for all families and bike riding enthusiasts on Saturday, July 24.

All proceeds will benefit North East’s Fuller and Crescent Hose Companies and North East Food Pantry.

There will be three routes to challenge riders of all levels with the following entry fees:  10 mile tour de North East - $10, 31 mile (50KM) intermediate tour - $20, and 62 mile (100KM) challenge tour - $25. There will be designated rest-stops with drinks and all riders will receive a free T-shirt and lunch following the ride.

Those who submit additional donations totally $50 or more, will receive the “Charity Champion Medallion.” All routes begin and end at the Assembly Church at 2025 Orchard Beach Rd. in North East.

Start times are: 7:30 a.m. for 62-mile ride, 8:30 a.m. for 31-mile and 9:30 a.m. for 10- mile ride.

Registration will be available the day of the event.

This cycling tour is part of the annual Family Fun Fest, so once the ride is complete everyone may also enjoy the other events of the day from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
